Ascent

Ascent is a chill game about leveling up and the life grind. You start as a noob sea critter at the bottom of the OG ocean. Your mission? Survive, level up, and hit the ocean surface! Munch on food to get swole. Once you're beefed up, find a mate. Gather enough loot from fallen creatures for your little spawn. Step into the shoes of the kid critter, and congrats, you just leveled up on the evolution path! Rinse and repeat: get bigger, breed, evolve, and climb higher in the ocean. Steer clear of non-friendly mobs. If you bite the dust, no sweat; you'll respawn with a new chance! Hop into another young body to keep grinding. But be careful, the foggy zones between worlds make it tough to spot dangers—another run-in, and it's game over.
